Yay! I’m so glad you found it! I’ll be back in Vegas in July for the manager meeting!

Vintage charm necklace. Days off in my new city are bad for my wallet. (Taken with instagram)
This photo was taken on the toilet.
Don’t scoff.
It’s my Sweaterbutt and I Sweaterbutt wherever I damn please.

So here we are. Sweaterbutt is thriving in Chicagoland. I even acquired a fancy smarts phone so I can Sweaterbutt on the go! ‘Sweaterbutt: New and improved- now with Instagram!’ Isn’t it just so g.d. hip you could barf? Yes. Yes it is.
Here’s me in my new All Saints frock. It’s part Jersey Housewife - part grunge princess. All Saints boasts free shipping! And, it only took 3 little days to get to me! I would’ve just gone downtown to the store but, well you know, it’s NATO week, so screw that.
I’ve finished it off with my lavender Docs! Mmmm…so All Saintsy…
New mess!
Sweaterbutt is in Chicago! And is the proud new owner of a vintage Nuge T shirt:
Sweaterbutt lives!!!
Here I am! Sweaterbutt in the big city! As I sit here in this coffee shop near my humble apartment, begrudgingly listening to Reggae music, I bring you a new photo! It is of my 1979 vintage Ted Nugent shirt I have recently acquired at my new store.
I had an exhausting yet great first week at work and I have never been so happy to have 2 days off! Although, that’s not exactly true because I’d be a lot happier if I actually had exciting plans. Mostly, I plan on sitting here and preparing notes to give to my new staff and making a list of things I plan in changing. Woohoo…. Ooh but I am getting an iPhone tomorrow. I am a brand new woman, or at least I will be.
I will try to get the blog back up and going in a more frequent way once I get settled more.
For now kiddos,
Toodles!
Sweaterbutt goes Denimbutt:
Denim shorts, big hair. floral shoes!
The shorts are Gap and the shoes are Forever 21.
I leave in 6 days and I am not having a nervous breakdown. Only half of this is true.
Sweaterbutt has a birthday! And also tries her hand at a hair style Diana Ross would be proud of:
It’s my birthday! It’s been a great few months of Sweaterbutting and I look forward to hitting the year mark someday!
Thanks to all my friends and family for making the journey to 26th a good, if not very educational one. It’s been a really super interesting year. As I am preparing to move in almost exactly two weeks, I have been trying to tie up some loose ends. Luckily the universe is doing most of the work for me. It feels good to wrap things up and get closure, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t scary to let go of stuff.
In any case, I look to forward to the fresh start.
I am stepping out to my birthday/going away party in this Rihanna-esq-BlackMilk-knockoff-looking dress from H&M via Buffalo Exchange. It’s very tight, and very unforgiving. We’ll see how good it looks once I’m a couple stouty beers in…
This is what my hair looks like post-blow dry pre-straightening iron. I thought everyone should have this visual. I briefly considered keeping it this way for tonight but my common decency kicked in.
Thanks for supporting Sweaterbutt! Tell your friends, or don’t…whatever.
Mess and Squalor.
Sweaterbutt has super sweet band tees:
A few of my dearest friends had cd releases in the last week or so. Buildings and Bloodnstuff.
Here are their sweet shirts and albums.

“Oh Hai, I’m super cute. No big deal.” Sweaterbutt gets egotistical during her birthday week:
I <3 this outfit. The dress is a red silk polka dot thing of which I forget the brand, the sweater is an embroidered Max Mara, and the necklace is some crazy elaborate vintage piece. All from Buffalo.
I am very aware that I have been slacking in my blogging responsibilities and for that I do feel badly. I’ve had many pressing life responsibilities. I found an apartment, have been making great progress packing, and planned a birthday/going away party for this weekend.
I love my birthday week. I feel confident and very lucky to have what I do: wonderful pals, supportive family, and a general willingness to embarrass myself.
The mess is primarily boxes.
Sweaterbutt buys a wacky multi-useful piece of jewelry, and apologizes for lack of posting with multiple posts:
Here we have modeled a bendy silver tube of jewelry that I purchased at Buffalo the other day.
My favorite usage is the crown.
Also, Sweaterbutt got a MacBook Pro for her birthday! (My brother pretty much said it was specifically so I could blog smarter.)
Oh Hai, I’m covered in All Saints and Jeffrey Campbell. No big deal:
Finding an apartment in a different state is the worst. I’m never doing it again. After much emotional rollercoastering, I finally found a place to live in Chicago. Although it is wrought with complications. I will try to summarize: basically after moving all of my stuff into one apartment unit, 2 weeks later I have to move it all again when the unit that I really want is done being renovated. It will be totally worth it because said unit will be super good looking, and all brand new just for me! I’m just hoping that I can charm a strong dude or two to help me move some stuff within 2 weeks time. I’m feeling pretty positive about that. I feel like my charming skills are pretty good. Are you not wearing pants? Oh right, that’s because I’ve charmed them right off of you. My bad.
While in Chicago apartment hunting, I had a wonderful time. I surprised my best friend who was there on a birthday trip, met some wonderful fellas, and bought these beautiful metallic Jeffrey Campbell Woodies! I also bought this floral silk All Saints top. It goes nicely with the stripey All Saints top I bought in Las Vegas and the Free People legging pants I picked up at Free People.
It’s official, I have a place to live! I’m moving to Chicago!
